Good mood^^
Haha I guess that's why I decided to post smth. And also why I'm not that disappointed by being malu with A just now at Osch LOL.
I don't really think it's a hormonal thing tho~ more of cuz everything went quite well today. P came for ballet at 11.30 sharp so the rest of the day went according to plan. Mayb morn was a lil:/ cuz of my lousy pancakes. I'm not even gonna put any stars for that recipe>.< And it made me too full... But quite touched by P today cuz he wanted me to have a good day out with my friend. But he's always like that. That's why I love him so much! And it's one of e reasons I'm staying in Sg for another 3 yrs.
And Liverpool actually replied...but I withdrew my application...
Ppl keep asking me y I dun wanna pursue vet med anymore so here goes:
1) I wanna stay in Sg longer. Like seriously, I duno why I'm so attached to home atm.... And I figured if I really wanted to see the world I can go on trips. And PLAN them^^
2) Vet med is conventional medicine (at least the one I applied for). It actually goes against my own natural lifestyle. And whatever I've been reading abt on animal health was on NATURAL animal health/ alternative medicine. I guess I really just wasted $$ on applying for Cambridge and all that...Cambridge really got the most $$ out of me LOL. But still, the interviews were good experiences. Anw, I wasn't thinking too much. I felt at that time and for a very long time that being a vet really was the best way to help animals. But now I don't really think so... So many other ways. Like, you don't bring ur pet to e vets' every day right? What I really want is a relationship with my clients, esp those who aren't responsible pet owners. And being a vet can be quite time consuming as well, such that one wouldn't really be able to spend time outside of work to help animals in other ways.
3) I don't wanna go to Australia. Just don't think I can be the best vet if I studied there. Gut feel. Impressions.
4) Don't say those up there sound like excuses. The course I accepted is amazing as well. And it's natural. NTU TCM and biomed. The biomed part isn't natural but it would allow me to make a better comparison between conventional and alternative medicine. And it could make more ppl trust me when I become a physician. Hua Tuo was sort of my idol for a while when I was younger!
Anw, I shall see where the road takes me. I might actually take up veterinary medicine (chinese medicine) after I graduate HAHA.
TIME TO SLEEP.
TTFN!^^
