HAPPY NEW YEAR

Wow omg a year really passes so quickly. Did pretty okay for this sem despite being super stressed about so many things. GPA maintained so OKIE:) But I really wanted to do better for my biomed mods but ah well.

Anw this is the highlight of the year:

Sang at MOA's bar with my band :) I really really need to work on my audience interaction skills haha. Felt a little nauseous at the end probably because of the cigarette smoke and cuz I felt kinda inappropriate since I didn't know how to talk to the audience. But I shall learn along the way! Just gotta keep pushing myself out of my comfort zone.

I actually made so many mistakes even though I wasn't nervous. But the people there were really nice and encouraging. And the audience sang along to "let it be" haha. Our set lists:

5. She looks so perfect (wow I totally just died cuz I started from the wrong line zzz- I literally just started from the second verse. But I tried to just groove it up a little during the second repeat.)
6. Demons (Lol we capo-ed 1 instead of 3 because original was capo 3 but I actually meant raise by 1 semitone. So it was super low HAHAHAHA BUT WHATEVER)

Wow this set was just super random ahahahha
1. Mother we share (Yep we're repeating songs to the same audience ZOMG)

YAYYY finally R takes over.
2. Some hokkien song that I've never heard of, but it sounded like chinese HAHA.
3. The guy in the audience came up to sing 酒鬼英雄- some hokkien song (which was why R sang a hokkien song haha cuz he thought the audience wanted to hear a hokkien song.)

5. OK AND WE ENDED WITH STILL INTO YOU. THIS SONG IS REALLY ZOMG HAHAHHAA WE DID THIS SO MANY TIMES ALREADY. TRADE MARK SONG HAHA.

Really glad we did this tgt as a band. We might think differently and have different music tastes but I'm just glad we all can give in to one another and accept one another's differences and put up great performances together. Thankful that you guys forgave me after that outburst. And thankful that I have my best friend back :) I really feel the support now. OH YAH AND REALLY REALLY REALLY GRATEFUL FOR ALL THE SUPPORT YESTERDAY-TODAY!!!!!

Alright this post shall just stop here cuz I wanna just dedicate it to my debut bar performance :)

Haha... Ok I'm gonna admit I'm a genius. CAN U BELIEVE IT? I fall sick during the hols=.= My friends, u don't see me missing from sch right? 5 Things I Will Commit to When I'm Rich

1. Eat home-cooked meals as much as I can. Eating out/ ordering delivery is the norm in Singapore.  But I'm not your typical Singaporean Wahahahaha. 2. Do not be lazy. Take public transport or carpool if possible. Don't hire a maid. Clean my own house. I love how these  rich people  take public transport. Do they bring along body guards? 3. Do not live in excess. Donate money to charities and causes I believe in.  With great wealth comes great responsibility. Read what  Jeff Bezos , the richest man in the world does for charity. I'm not sure if he is just doing this because of public pressure though. It just sounds like he doesn't really have a cause that he truly believes in. As much as people think they deserve to live in excess due to their hard work, I think it's unnecessary and I hope I never get myself in the plight where I have a huge mansion and a swimming pool on the balcony. 2024 New Year Resolutions

 A little late because #life, but here it is! Health Do 20-30s handstands every day. Stretch at least 5min every day. Sleep at 10 - 11pm. Go for yoga at least once a week when mil is here. Nature walks at least once a month. Baby Teach him to ride the bike. Get him off diapers. Wean him off breast milk. Read a book to him every week. Planned Breaks Take leave from 25th Dec - 31st Dec. (Felt really good in 2023, but also depends on where mil will be.) Travel at least once a year (not during Christmas). Celebrate our birthdays. (Haha, because I've always been so lazy to.) Hobbies Read at least one Chinese classic novel. Home Enhancement Reorganize cupboards so that we can find stuff more easily. Plan a kid's gym. Elemit Yoga Plan our first yoga retreat. Not sharing my financial goals since I feel it's a little too personal. TTFN!
