Quantum tunneling (this title may be of quantum proportions)

Sucks having to procrastinate on blogging cuz it makes me forget what I originally wanted to blog about! But it's the A lvl prep period so by right I shouldn't be doing this!>.< Sort of feel ready yet not ready because even though I did alright for prelims, prelims feels so far away that I am afraid I have forgotten what I have studied. I don't like this feeling of throwing away everything after an exam. (Of course not everything tho.) All these years I've said I don't study for the sake of exams and it helps because you study consistently and concepts/stuff u really have to rmb stick. But it's still necessary to study harder just before an exam because it's inevitable during the exams you just have a mental block, so it's better to revise and take note of common mistakes and tricky questions/ qn phrasing to prevent such mental blocks. Like during the bio paper 2 I forgot what proteins help to separate 2 bacterial cells. Then on the bus I recalled. So it's not that you don't know. It's all somewhere in your head and revision can help re-organise things a bit. Nothing should get thrown out. Or else what's the point of studying?

You may argue that it clears some space for the more impt information that can be applicable to life. (there have been research studies that support this but they were for ppl with photographic memory.) But I think anything we learn has the potential to help in our future endeavors, no matter how unrelated they seem to be. It's possible that there may not be enough space up there so we have to prioritise, but don't underestimate the brain's ability! The only thing limiting you is yourself. You may think it's impossible to do a backflip on the beam, which was how I thought when I was in pri sch, but ppl do it! I did it because I had good coaches so it shows that with the correct form of help, you can do the things that you never thought you could. These psychological barriers are funny things because they can stop the whole world from achieving more. But with a world so big, there is bound to be that one adventurous person. No one could achieve a four-minute mile for a long time. But it just took one person to achieve that and the rest followed suit. You may not believe in these psychological barriers but have you ever experienced a situation where you didn't dare to do something but your friend dared to and thus you followed him and realised it wasn't so bad after all? (haha k it could turn out the other way round where things turn out disastrous but try to think optimistically k?) Like in a themepark, if you were the scaredy cat while ur friends were dare devils, have you followed your friends on a ride tho you thought it was terrifying?

Anw the main point is to not reject the notion that the brain has limitless ability. Or even your body. That's why I believe in God. And I support ppl who believe in their own religions, as long as they don't use it to do unscrupulous things, and as long as they are not hypocrites. God gives us hope, and with hope it gives us the strength to carry on in times of trouble, and to strive towards our dreams no matter how blurry and far they may seem. You may even have put in a lot of resources other than your effort, but that means you wouldn't look back and regret when you think of "what if". All you can do now in order to move closer to your dreams is to try your best, put in all your effort.

K this has been a rather optimistic post! Maybe because I am in a rather good mood~ I actually want to write about smth else as well but it's late and I don't want to post too many things at once. I hope I rmb tho:/

`TTFN~~
