Homeopathic medicine

Did you know 80% (I think, anw if it's wrong, I am sure it's above 50%) of people in the US believe in alternative medicine (includes TCM, homeopathy, herbal etc.)?

Anw I don't know if I should believe in homeopathic medicine or not. I believe in natural cures so conventional is not really for me. So if I have fever I just go to sleep without paracetamol. Even if I break out in hives/ rash I don't use my eczema cream (hydrocortisone 2% or smth like that..)

So to let you know what homeopathy is all about, it is using very very diluted solutions of a certain substance to cure an illness. The substance itself should cause similar symptoms to the illness'. However because the substance is so diluted, it doesn't cause the symptoms but only triggers the body's immune system to fight against the illness.

I'm at a dilemma for a quite a few reasons.

1a) How do you cure the illness when it's not exactly the same illness (different cause), but just the same symptoms.
1b) But maybe the illness is the same. Different paths can lead to the same place.
1c) But then it means using a diluted form of something else instead of the homeopathic remedy can also cure the illness. Plus the body would already be trying to cure itself since it alr has the illness.
1d) Or maybe ONLY the homeopathic remedy can trigger the immune system to fight.

2) How can there be water memory?!

3) But there are SO MANY things we don't know about. One example is the beginning of the universe. We haven't conquered science. And actually, we're quite far from that.

4a) There are people who were cured by homeopathy.
b) But how true is that? Placebo effect?
c) But I've read a book by a vet and he said it cured his patients.

5a) The reason why pharmaceutical companies are against homeopathic medicine is cuz the remedies are very cheap to make. If everyone switches to taking homeopathic remedies instead of the expensive conventional medicine, profit goes down.
b) But if the demand is high, price will go up too.

So in conclusion, I shouldn't be believing in homeopathic medicine. However, there is actually not enough research going on for homeopathic medicine. So I'm still in a dilemma. The only point I agree with is 3).

Guys pls tell me your thoughts:)

TTFN!~
