My stamina is like getting worse and worse...from sec 1 it was quite ok then sec2 onwards it started to deteriorate.
It's incomprehensible...but it's tolerable. hate it this way and it won't ever be successful but I think I can be ignorant of it. Sec 1s were punished again today. I reached at arnd 4.15pm cuz of EV. Missed my 4 by 4 cuz of that as well:( Really wanna do something cuz trng was like nothing... Was actually lookin forward to today cuz of trng but forgot that so many ppl will be having heats for csm. I didn't even do any drills:( I know it's kinda "rest time" for us since comps are just over but I don't think I need it especially when we're gonna rest for the first two weeks of june hols... I think the reason the sec 1s don't have the "robust character" is cuz of the seniors. Not that influential huh? We need louder peeps. Super soft when we're tired... And it's hard to be a leader nowadays...You've gotta know what's right and wrong cos the kids are not really kids and are getting smarter each day. They can use our bits and pieces of wrong words or misunderstand them to make the person look bad when actually they really mean something else. They divert the main point. For example you can say "train and don't talk so much" then they change it to if don't talk then don't shout also Must talk then can have "bonding". Or sometimes we ourselves are not training but we only wish for ny to improve or at least maintain its standard. If we don't want development why wanna risk our health shouting and worrying so much? So really we have to make ourselves clear. Use appropriate words and have no ambiguity. Last time when coach says do 300 push ups we also do it without saying "huh...". And I think coach was really good. Too bad he had to leave. Though the current coach is much kinder but I think strict is good. We talked and had to do 20 frog jumps around the floor mat. Perspired so much that people could squeeze perspiration out of ur hair. [That was cool but disgusting...] At least I see the results:) My best year!
This year my aspiration for volleyball is champs. I don't settle for anything less. But it's a lot tougher this year. Have to really build up on defence and be able to get everyone calm and confident. Nervousness is unavoidable but we must be able to deal with it. I think the way my senior said it: you don't "take away" nervousness, you deal with it," is really a good way of thinking. It helps to deal with nervousness. haha it's a circle. As in if we think this way we can be more conscious of our actions and reduce those unforced errors. And yes confidence. I almost wanted to talk about it during the EV. Kill to win. Any hesitation means bye bye no.1. Whoa I really have to work on EVERYTHING...Lousy Lousy Lousy. Inconsistent... Must learn to thunder! I've never had a ball which went ping piang and bounced onto the wall...And that's the real happiness of playing. If can't do anything well then there's nothing to enjoy. Not to say there's the enjoyment of accomplishments.
Have to motivate myself to train harder. Shall look forward to Mon trng. Hope no heats. Then we can play match and get exhausted. Hope there's barley that day. I miss it quite a lot:)
C is GOOD, considering the fact that she only started this year. Y too. She's improving fast. They really should be leaders, except that Y is soft like mouse...Actually J is good too but she's too lenient. Hope they improve faster so they can lead the team better. oops I forgot to bring Y's pants to sch today![=.=] I guess the more important thing is the rate at which the person improves instead of skill. If the skill is there but stagnant, what's the point? I would take the one with potential to develop and wants to develop. Who can't have fun? The hard thing is to improve and have fun at the same time:)!
