Sry I kept comparing us with RGS but I think it's true they're much more aggressive [heard from a reliable little bird]. Our school is not that supportive as well. Heard from the same little bird that RGS prioritizes CCA over academic 'cause they say it brings out the real you.
I think the sec 1s are too studious. Too many books have taken away their humanity..Doesn't school come before friends since without school you may not make that many friends? Anyway if friends don't understand and don't "forgive" us then they're not our friends. Besides that school gives you good education and since we are playing for the school we should support whenever we can. I didn't say that we are supposed to cos it's not a rule but it comes from the heart that we want to be grateful to the school so we want to do good things for the school by supporting the players, which will definitely make our teams play better.
Not greeting an elder person is disrespectful, as it would be the same as treating him or her as glass. Juniors are still greeted but the way of greeting is like with a smile or just saying hi, which is also respectful since it's not treating them like ghosts. Also, elders should naturally be greeted officially and by saying it loud and together shows how bonded juniors are. Do you feel inferior when seniors say hi to you or smile at you?
Equality can also be achieved when both sides respect each other:)
